Trench Rescue Operations – 3-Day Class – Eligible for Strike Team Funding

 

Description
For anyone interested in experiencing extensive hands-on learning in many different scenarios using basic wood shores up to and including pneumatic shores.

The class will begin with an overview of basic trench safety, tools, OSHA safety regulations, and how to proceed as a first responder at a trench rescue incident. Hands-on training will include basic and advanced trench configurations.

Special Requirements
Mandatory equipment: safety glasses or goggles, rescue or fire helmets, safety toe boots, and work gloves. Recommended equipment: kneepads, coveralls, hearing protection, framing hammer, tape measure and nail apron. You should come prepared to work in all types of weather conditions.

Approved for 1 credit hour
