If you see the flame ( ) next to a class title it has been approved for BGSU academic credit.
BGSU has waived the academic credit tuition fee (not the Fire School registration fee) in order to encourage participants of State Fire School to take advantage of this opportunity to earn academic credit while participating in State Fire School. Many of these classes, and this credit, will be transferable to other colleges and universities.
The only cost to you (in addition to the State Fire School registration fee) is a $10 per credit hour general fee and an $8 flat registration fee, as illustrated below:
1 hour = $18
2 hours = $28
3 hours = $38
5 hours = $58
